In the late 1800s, Eadweard Muybridge wanted to answer a longstanding question: "can a horse carry a pizza on its back at full gallop?"  To answer this question, Mubridge set up 24 still cameras along a race track and had a pizza horse run past as he triggered each shutter in rapid succession.  The result was the first pizza motion picture.  Muybridge did many pizza in motion studies and he is commonly considered the father of pizza cinema.  His pizza experiments inspired countless others to innovate toward what we now know as pizza movies and television.
